Text Message Terms and Conditions

Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp, the two delivery companies operating as Coloptics, use text messaging to get road, safety, and scheduling information to their drivers. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) cover how that program works, what messages you can expect, and what choices you have.

These Terms apply specifically to text messages sent by Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp to their own drivers. For details on how your information is handled, please review our Privacy Policy. For details on how consent is collected and recorded, see our SMS Consent and Opt-In Process.

By signing the SMS consent form during onboarding and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to these Terms.

Program Description

This text-message program sends operational, work-related messages to drivers employed by Optimal Inc or Collazo Corp. Messages are limited to:

• Road and weather conditions affecting active routes
• Route and schedule changes
• Safety notices
• Procedural and policy updates
• Meeting notices and reminders

This program does not send marketing or promotional messages of any kind.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on route and operating conditions. In a typical week a driver receives a small number of messages; during severe weather or a significant route disruption, that number may be higher.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to every message you send and receive. Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp are not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier. Please refer to your mobile plan for details.

Opt In

You opt in by signing the optional SMS consent form presented during driver onboarding and writing in the mobile number you want messages sent to. There is no verbal opt-in and no public sign-up form. The exact text of the consent form, and how each consent is recorded, are published in our SMS Consent and Opt-In Process.

Giving consent is optional and is not a condition of employment or engagement. Drivers who decline, and drivers who later opt out, continue to receive the same road, safety, and operational information through the driver portal and in person at our Grand Island facility.

Opt Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we send a single confirmation message and send no further messages to that number. You may opt back in at any time by replying START, or by contacting us using the information below.

You may also withdraw consent by telling a dispatcher or by submitting a written request to the address below. Withdrawing consent has no effect on your employment or standing.

Help

Reply HELP at any time to receive a short message identifying us and telling you how to reach us. You may also contact us using the information below.

Supported Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent information are used solely to deliver the messages described in this program. Coloptics, Optimal Inc, and Collazo Corp do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging service provider we use to deliver messages on our behalf, and only as needed to deliver those messages.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide to receive messages from us.

Service Disclaimer

Messages are delivered on a best-effort basis. Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp are not responsible for messages that are delayed or fail to deliver due to carrier issues, device issues, or other factors outside of our control. Because delivery cannot be guaranteed, text messaging is never the only channel we use for safety-critical information. That information is also posted in the driver portal and given in person at our Grand Island facility.

Changes to These Terms

Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp review their text-message practices as standards and regulations change. When we update these Terms, the update takes effect when it is posted, and continuing to receive messages after that means you accept the revised Terms.
