Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
Coloptics is the operating group behind Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp, two delivery companies working out of Grand Island, Nebraska. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out what personal information those companies collect, how they use and store it, and who they share it with. It applies to our drivers, to people who apply to drive for us, and to anyone visiting this website.
We use what we collect to hire and pay drivers, dispatch and support routes, meet our safety and regulatory obligations, and run the business. If we change how we handle personal information in a material way, we will update this Policy and post a notice here. If we ever want to use your information in a way this Policy does not describe, we will ask you first.
Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on your relationship with us.
Job applicants
When you apply to drive for us, we collect the information you provide in your application and during the hiring process, which may include your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, driving experience, availability, and driver’s license information. Where required for commercial motor vehicle operations, this may also include motor vehicle records, background screening results, and Department of Transportation qualification records.
Drivers and employees
Once hired, we maintain the records necessary to employ, schedule, pay, and support you. These may include your name, contact information, mobile phone number, home address, emergency contact, government identification and tax information, hours worked, route and dispatch records, vehicle inspection and safety records, and payroll records.
Website visitors
This website does not require an account and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you contact us by email or phone using the details published on this site, we receive whatever information you choose to send us.
Text Message Communications
Optimal Inc and Collazo Corp send operational text messages to their own drivers who have signed a written SMS consent form during onboarding. Messages are limited to:
- Road and weather conditions affecting active routes
- Route and schedule changes
- Safety notices
- Procedural and policy updates
- Meeting notices and reminders
This program does not send marketing or promotional messages of any kind, and it does not send messages to customers, package recipients, or the general public.
Consent is collected in writing during driver onboarding. There is no verbal opt-in and no public sign-up form. Giving consent is optional and is not a condition of employment or engagement. The full opt-in process, the exact text of the consent form, and our record-keeping practice are published in our SMS Consent and Opt-In Process. Program terms are published in our Text Message Terms and Conditions.
Message frequency varies and depends on route and operating conditions. In a typical week a driver receives a small number of messages; during severe weather or a significant route disruption, that number may be higher. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we send a single confirmation message and send no further messages to that number. You may opt back in at any time by replying START. Reply HELP at any time to receive a short message identifying us and telling you how to reach us.
No sharing of mobile information
Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent information are used solely to deliver the messages described in this program. Coloptics, Optimal Inc, and Collazo Corp do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging service provider we use to deliver messages on our behalf, and only as needed to deliver those messages.
Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in information are excluded from the service-provider sharing described elsewhere in this Policy.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. Aside from mobile opt-in information, which is handled as described above, we share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who do work on our behalf, such as payroll processors, background screening vendors, benefits administrators, and our messaging service provider. Each receives only what that work requires.
- With the carrier whose delivery contracts we operate under, to the extent required by that contract for route assignment, service standards, and safety compliance.
- With regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Data Security
We use administrative, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. Personnel records, including signed consent forms, are kept restricted to staff whose work requires access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, to run the business, and to meet our legal obligations. Department of Transportation and employment record-keeping rules set minimum retention periods for certain driver records, and those periods govern where they apply. Once information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted, anonymized, or archived.
Records of text-message consent and of consent withdrawal are retained for as long as we operate the program, and afterward for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.
Children’s Privacy
Our services and this website are directed to adults seeking or holding employment with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Accessing, Updating, or Deleting Your Information
If you would like to access, update, correct, or delete your personal information, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days, subject to applicable legal requirements. After fulfilling a request, your data may be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for legal or operational purposes.
Policy Changes and Updates
We review our privacy practices as standards and regulations change. When we update this Policy, the “last updated” date at the top of the page changes with it, and the update takes effect when it is posted. It is worth checking back here from time to time.
